Our Managing Director, Ms. Annie Chan was invited by CFA Society Hong Kong and ACFE Hong Kong in Hong Kong to give a talk to their members on the topic of “Financial Statement Fraud Detection”. Ms. Felicia Wong, CFA kindly acted as the moderator for the event. The Joint Event was successfully held on 4 September 2024.
During the talk, Ms Chan shared with the audience on how to identify red flags and warning signals in financial statement fraud and explained the latest forensic techniques including data analytics and AI in detecting fraudulent financial statements to over 80 participants
A real-life case was also analysed and shared by Annie which stimulated constructive discussions on the topic.
It was an interesting and fruitful event.
